Member of Parliament for Rembau, Khairy Jamaluddin is ready to not be nominated at the next general election if the party leadership found that he was not a candidate who can win.
He said the decision to select candidates to represent the Barisan Nasional (BN) is the power of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and all parties should abide by and to avoid dissatisfaction to ensure victory is achieved.
"I do not know (to be nominated or not), the Prime Minister to do the same if I was a candidate can win or not. Maybe I am not a candidate reports can win, if I am not a candidate can win, I have to accept decisions made by the Prime Minister.
"Most importantly, anyone who so defending today or who have positions in the party that if the Prime Minister to know that you are not a candidate can win then we do not consider myself to be received is too great or can not be replaced because of such attitude could affect the machinery if not selected, "he said.
He is also Umno Youth chief was speaking to reporters after the Opening Ceremony Jom Program Breaking Fast of Ramadan and the UMNO Youth Division of the Mosque of Kota Bharu Happy here last night.
Also present, Kelantan UMNO Youth Chief, Anuar Safian and UMNO Youth Chief Kota Bharu, Rosmadi Ismail.
During Ramadan Jom program, UMNO Youth has contributed RM10, 000 to the mosque for repair work including the installation of an air conditioning unit.
Khairy said the incumbent or any individual who aspires to be selected as a candidate must work hard from now to win the hearts of the people.
